From Prank Calling to Help Seeking

I received a missed call yesterday by an unknown person. I thought it was from my friend. When I asked via sms who it is, the reply was
“Me is human lar.”
“Jesus Loves You: Who are you? What is your name… Are you a male or a female?”
“(Chinese) buddha-loves you too… me is human of a girl lar..”
When I saw this reply, I was unease because this is the first reply I got since I use Jesus Loves Youas my sms heading some years back then. However, I manage to keep calm to know the other person more. The more I sms, the more I found out that the person is not my friend. I made that decision when I ask the person to tell me my name in English and Chinese. The reply was:
“(Chinese)your English name is(English)I dun know(Chinese)and your chinese name is I dun know.
“Jesus Loves You: So u noe ntg bout me, dun u?”
That’s when I begun to lost patience on her. She kept bugging me for some time until I decided not to reply her anymore. A few minutes later, I can finally continue my school work. I was actually having my lunch when she first missed call me. She did that until when I was in Dr. Yong’s Academic Writing class. It was really difficult to write outlines and reply sms simultaneously. In addition, we were given an article about Ayurveda in maintaining longevity. That’s a very bias article which only states Ayurveda as the best way to maintain longevity.
I did not receive any call or sms from her until my birthday morning, she greeted me in the morning and miss call me once in the afternoon. In the evening after I had my dinner with my family, I had a sms from her.
“(Chinese) Can I chat with you? I’m very sad I wanna cry
“Jesus Loves You: Ok”
“(Chinese) My parents had argued.”
“Jesus Loves You: Y?”
“(Chinese) I’m sick, my dad scolded my mum saying that she couldn’t take care of me well. Why can they just let me rest?”
“Jesus Loves You: That’s awful”
“(Chinese) What is the meaning of that word?
“Jesus Loves You: It means pitty. Btw, which sch r u 4m? Form 3?
“(Chinese) –forgot-…… Sigh!....3…

After some more sms, we exchange our name. She addressed herself as Christina while I told her I’m Ezekiel, she messed up my name to Ekeziel and complained that my name is too difficult to pronounce. I found out that she broke up with her 19 years old boyfriend and need to find someone to talk to. She said she found my cell phone number written on the cupboard in her class. I also found out that she picked her boy friend blindly. She said she loves him and that’s the only reason that makes her do so. After all this information gathering I decided since she is from SMK Batu Lintang, I ask her to go to see the ISCF teacher-in-charge. The teacher-in-charge will give her a good piece of advice. She could go to see the counselor to but since I only know a reliable source, I suggested her to go to see ISCF teacher-in-charge instead. Well, I believe that God send her my phone number so that she can seek help from me. She was hesitated to go so I asked her to write letter instead. I don’t know exactly what she will do but I’ll pray that God will help her in His own ways. It’s very daring of her to sms an unknown phone number and shares her problems with the other end of the line. She is indeed blessed because she sms me, what if she sms another guy like her boy friend who I believe only play around with her. In short, the moral of the story is never try this at home.
