After teaching for about two months, finally it's time to go back to University Life. Bye bye phantoms of Manaces.. Today is the last day of cny, we had a LAN party, guitar practice and a movie night at Aldrin's summer home. Quite nice except Aldrin told me he found a roasted fly under my laptop. It was dispossed before I could take the last photo for it. Anyways, learned some new skill from Johnson.. Thanks yeah!
We woke up one hour before lunch time, so when we are done with out wash up, we, as usual Aldrin & me went out for lunch.
This time we, it's at Kluang Station, the Spring.
It's decorations are totally like the old fashioned kopitiam.
A little bit like the kopitiam at the train station, although we have "Jalan Keretapi", but that's one of the main road for cars now. I don't really know much about the train station kopitiam until I read the introduction about this semi-restaurant. The special food here are...
Nasi lemak? Rendang? Mee Siam? No... I think those people at that time are more familiar to kaya toast and coffee during that time, especially the black coffee (Kopi O).They did sell Hainanese chicken chop rice though. We ordered Rendang, it was not bad, however people like Abubu & Johnson cannot try because it is HOT & SPICY!

One of the best coffee in Kuching, very expensive too.
What does people order when they go to kopitiam during the fourties? Coffee of course. But there is a certain someone who's so addicted to Tea that he ordered hot Tea intead.. In the end he couldn't resist to order one Coffee just after my last mouthful of milk coffee. this guy is really ar.. I don't what to say, why can't he order it earlier? he is not going to pay for it.. The reason of his free drink will remained a secret. play piano music called "secret" to look for me twenty years earlier to find out the answer?
Lastly, I want to share with you all the English of Kluang Station cahsier. When we want to pay for our meal, she asked. "You people had two rendang, one coffee hot and one TEH hot?"
Replied, "No we had two hot coffees and one hot tea."
People critised about my bad English, What can I do if people speaks this type of English to me everywhere I go?
Happy Chap Goh Meh!

I thought that the cashier's english was okay. Just her accent was a bit funny. Much like how I speak Mandarin lar. Hahaha.
Scary la your laptop. Next time should put eggs under there instead. That way, when the LAN party's over, we can at least have 'roasted' eggs for supper.

haha... your students are really "cute" in the sense that they are super creative. Why don't u try to print out the snapshot and give them after 10 years. Let them see how "cool" they are. haha.. haha.. haha..
Kluang station. I have been there once. The food is "okay". Nothing special. Yet it's kinda pricey though.
