Bitterbum Only got 1 waiter?

After working for three days and I noticed that I'm the only full time waiter there. On Friday and weekends, I will have 1 more part-time waitress to help me. There is one more person went to the interview but he never show up to work. How could it be? Am I the only person that is dumb and retarded enough to take up that job?

One of the reason is the salary..
I still remembered when I hear others saying about employer choosing employees during an interview, nowadays the situation has changed, it's the employee who chooses their employer based on salary mostly and other benefits.

The pay is lower than average, if I need to aim about half of RM1200 (My previous salary). I need to work overtime from Monday till Thursday and 8 hours on Friday and weekends. The problem is I got choir rehearsal on Friday night, youth of Saturday night and church on Sunday morning, so I can only work 8 hours on these three days. I can choose a day off on a weekday every week.

I remembered I got a call from Starbucks(**7687) if I'm not mistaken, I didn't manage to answer the call because I was working. I think starbucks should be paying higher that my current restaurant for a barista. Too bad, really too bad.. For me.

Secret Recipe is hiring also but I chose not to go there because I heard my friend said they want the worker to work on Sunday morning too. In addition, the situation there is just as bad as here.. Maxbie works there.. Chilled out Maxbie, atleast your salary is 20¢/hr more than mine. However my overtime salary is 25¢/hr mroe than yours. lol!

Anyway, Dessert is hiring.. Lowest paid for the lightest job.. What will happen if I switch over there? They gave monthly allowance for our meals only. Which is more or less the same as my current restaurant.

Besides, many other shops are hiring too..

Parkson is hiring...

Optic 88 is hiring for immediate post too. Optician, shop assistant and trainee.. I hope I can join that.. Hmm....

PDI is hiring!!! Better go there to look for a job!

There are only 2 reasons for me to continue working.

1. Subsidised food.
2. A quite ok manager.

Disadvantages for working there..

1. Long working hours.
2. Low paid.
3. Heavy labour work.
4. Pay for our own meals.
5. Speak mandarin and sarawak instead of English. Huh?

Hey guys, whoever in need of $$ please come here to help me. We'll get the same pay but our work will be lighter. Atleast pay a visit here, to help me remind who am I?

In conclusion, God wants and friends ask me to give thanks and don't complain. I'll try.. Another day with sore muscle... Now it's my whole body~ Morning shift tomorrow opps! I mean I need to work whole day tomorrow.. Smile Soon Eng :)
