Blood Test

My church organised a blood test campaign on 1st September 2008. In order to give support, I joined the blood test.I have to say this is my first blood test in public. Reached church around 9.30am and this is what I can see. Around 40 people from church and those who live near our church came. This is not many, however it makes a good start to tell others that our church exist in the community.

The first and foremost, registration. I chose to take up a full blood test which cost me RM70. Fortunately I managed to find a sponsor - my mom - After registration, I was asked to weigh my mass and measure my height.
Our reverend's wife, also a pastor measuring height.
The result was still the same. I have a mass of 48kg and height of 1.62m. I have to admit I am SHORT but then again the people who have this height do have advantage sometimes. lol!

After weighing and measuring, some more measuring was done. There was this blood pressure tester called the electronic sphygmomanometer.

It is used to measure the systolic, diastolic and pulse. After that a medical personnel poke a small hole on my finger, a little blood came out and the medical personnel sip it into a glucometer.

My result are written in a piece of paper, if there is something wrong with my body, they will ask me to consult medical advise.
The doctor giving medical advise.
Our reverend undergoing blood extracting.
After that, comes the final and most painful part, the blood sucking extracting part. What worst can it be when you found out the one who is going to suck extract your blood was your temporary teacher. He is Charles Goh from St. Joseph, graduated form 6 around 2000, now he is working with Pathlab.
Ok, back to the story, when he injected the syringe into my vein on my right hand, he couldn't extract much blood. So he decided to extract it from the left arm. The outcome was the same, only a little blood came out. Only then I know I had drank too little water before I came, so I was asked to drink water before the third time. Finally he managed to get my blood on the third attempt, 5cubic centimeter equivalent to 0.005L of blood was extracted from my body for testing. In the end, I have 3 holes on my both hands and it does hurt... Blood test result will be released on the 14th of September 2008.

By the way, whoever found this car -QKR 1050-. please do not and I repeat DO NOT give place for it. It is just another uncivilized baboon living in Kuching. What did he do? He jumped queue from the left and slid it's car in front of me. I'm very uncomfortable with it. So yea, you guys know what to do.
