The Journey of No Return (Chapter 1)

Episode 1: The Introduction

The story lies back to the Iron Age where human started to build armors and swords with Iron. It is a tale of a young man, Keelize together with other 16 future Lords and Ladies in Wensburen Fortress, a newly built stronghold in Citadel of King Huc in 19th years of his realm.

Keelize is an apprentice in the Fortress, his father always wanted him to become a Lord in the Citadel. This is why Keelize was sent to be trained in the academy. However, Keelize's dream was to pursue his dream of becoming an alchemist, which he thinks that he can acquire the skill of turning lead into gold. But Keelize soon gave up his dream because he has to travel far away to another kingdom to learn this skill. Besides, his father worked for the King as a teacher could not afford him to pursue alchemy there. Without much choice, Keelize with his good result from the lower academy of combat went in to Wensburen. He was in the best class in his previous school so he was really enjoying his time in Wensburen for the past two seasons. Getting good rank in every skill is his aim. He had to learn everything from law to combat skills.

There is often a horde of hostile barbarian plundering their outskirt village almost every week. Their governor decided that they should send out the freshmen to be trained when the barbarian returns. Keelize was position in East Wensburen, one of the outskirt village with the other freshmen. In his first battle, he was able to defeat the enemy and uninjured. Some of his fellow freshmen however where not so lucky, a few died and some crippled. Death and injuries is unavoidable through out the battle. In eleventh month 18th years of King Huc, the barbarian attacked West Wensburen with full strength, the battle was tough, although in the end the Hucian gain victory but they lost half of the man, either dead or heavily injured. Keelize fallen from his horse and had a moderate injury, he was hit by the enemy rider from the back when he was charging the enemy on horseback.

After this invasion, the governor called back the freshmen and replace the troop with more experienced soldiers. Keelize and his troops were sent back to the fortress to recover and train further. He had to learnt law, history and poetry during his recovery time but he doesn’t like any of that at all. He barely pass his poetry in the end of the season. All of the test, study and fighting doesn’t really reflect his personality, none of his troop mates can really talk to him. It is until when he meet 16 future Lords and Ladies he begun to have companion. He is also changed and no longer silent and unsocialable.
